Here is a photo tour of Shamiyoyo taken around 9:30 AM, starting in the northwest corner and working clockwise.

Inside the latrine
Wana and David's fire shelter. Wana's house in the background on the left
Inside Wana's house. They generously lent me their table to use to store food this whole time.

Another of Charles's family's houses. The girl pictured is one of the daughters of the piggery caretakers. She's always smiling and singing to herself. She and her sisters have very pretty singing voices.

The well/bore hole with hand pump in the center of the village. As the only bore hole within a 1 km radius, many neighboring villages come to use this as well.
Road to piggery heading NE
Passing the pig farm to the NE - bridge designed and built by Bridges to Prosperity. Day by De co-founder Candice De was involved in this project.
Fred J. Grosser Bridge over Luena River. The road to the right across the bridge leads to the market after a few km.
